The School of Health and Welfare’s research projects within the focus area Smart Cities and Communities
Smart Cities and Communities is a focus area that encompasses the entire University. It includes all research, education and collaborations that is conducted within Smart Cities and Communities at Halmstad University.
The focus within the focus area is Smart Mobility, Smart Energy and Smart Citizen and Communities in small and medium sized cities. In the research projects within Smart Cities and Communities, the researchers at the School of Health and Welfare focus on creating knowledge about what promotes welfare, inclusion and health in society from an intersectional perspective, among other things. Other projects investigate for example how digital technology can be used in educational environments, as well as how one can work to educate upper secondary school students about disinformation and conspiracy theories.
