Everyday heroes and everyday journalists
Everyday heroes and everyday journalists is an interdisciplinary research project about a current welfare issue where different interests collide, in this case between the general public and professions, and where accident sites becomes part of the workplace.
The overall aim of the project is to develop knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding courage, legislation and ethics, digitalisation and medialisation, as well as the working environment at accident sites and what medialisation means for both emergency services and journalists. The study is divided into two parts. Analyses of the media content relating to public action at accident sites as well as accident journalism in one part, and interviews with the professions that, among other things, work at accident sites in the other.
