Collaborate with our students
Collaborating with students from Halmstad University can be a way for you to develop your organisation, and for the students to get a chance to put their knowledge to the test. Ways to collaborate are for example projects and thesis projects. The students contribute with their new knowledge and competence and you get the chance to market your organisation as a future employer.
Thesis project
The thesis project is the part of an education where students show what they have learnt and get an academic assessment as well as present the result of their work. Depending on the content and level of the education, the thesis project can include identifying and analysing problems and suggesting solutions. The possibilities for you and the students to do a thesis project in collaboration are great. The thesis project is usually carried out at the end of an education and lasts between 10 and 20 weeks, either during the spring or autumn semester.
Student project
Student projects are short and organisation based educational elements where students try and develop their knowledge based on challenges in the business world. There are many possibilities for you and the students to create and come up with projects together. It is common for a group of students do a project together.
Internship

Good to know
Projects and thesis projects are parts of the students’ education, which means there are certain standards when it comes to level, subject and size of the projects. Some things regarding thesis projects and student projects the participating parties need to decide together. For example, how the results of the project may be used, a potential budget or if there is a need for a non-disclosure agreement. The important thing is that the organisation and the students agree on these things beforehand. Also note that the student finance is not affected during the project period and that the University supplies them with insurance.
