Pontus Wärnestål is Deputy Vice-Chancellor with responsibility for collaboration, innovation and sustainability at Halmstad University since March 2024.
Pontus Wärnestål is Deputy Professor of Information Technology and has broad experience from both industry and academia. He combines service design and artificial intelligence and works extensively to strengthen the connection between academic research and practical application. Other research projects include design and digital innovation for urban development, smart mobility and education.
