Research Schools
National industrial research school within Smart Industry
The research school Smart Industry Sweden is a collaboration between Halmstad University, University West, University of Skövde, Jönköping University and Mid Sweden University in close collaboration with the Knowledge Foundation. The companies in the research school receive one or more PhD students but gain access to the entire network of universities, PhD students, senior researchers and companies. The purpose of Smart Industry Sweden is to strengthen Swedish industry.

UPGRADE
The research school UPGRADE – Lärarutbildning och skolans digitalisering is a national research school which in the spring of 2020 accepts at least nine doctoral students. The research school is financed by the Swedish Research Council and the aim is to strengthen the digital competence in teacher training programs and increase the proportion of teacher educators with postgraduate training.

LIKED
Lärande, interaktion och kunskap i en digitaliserad värld, LIKED, is a national research school with an interdisciplinary approach. The graduate school includes areas such as subject didactics, didactics, pedagogy, technology and learning, media technology, informatics, pedagogical work and applied IT, all of which contribute different perspectives to the research on learning, interaction, and knowledge in a digital world.

Produktion2030
Access to competence in the production area is central to the industry's development and investments in Sweden. Higher education in the production area should be characterized by cooperation between industry and academia. Produktion2030 has been running a national research school in production since 2014.
