Working with
Jeaneth Johansson is a Professor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Financial Decision-Making. She has extensive experience in researching financiers' decision-making processes, capital market research and business model innovation, particularly in the context of entrepreneurship and innovation. A key theme embedded in her research is economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
Her recent research focuses on MedTech innovation, specifically the commercialization and implementation of innovative solutions in healthcare. This work encompasses the perspectives of companies, financiers/investors, and healthcare professionals. Her research is grounded in theoretically robust methodologies and is closely tied to practical business development guidance.
Johansson has published in prestigious journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Management Studies, Technovation, Small Business Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Accounting Research Journal, Harvard Business Review, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
Johansson serves as Vice Dean, responsible for research at the School of Business, Innovation, and Sustainability. She is also part of the team responsible for the mandatory interdisciplinary Supervisory course for Associate Professorship at Halmstad University. Additionally, she is actively involved in the research program Information-Driven Care, where she is a member of the management team.
