In 2022, I defended my thesis in Health and Lifestyle entitled 'Social capital and inequalities in mental health among young adolescents in Sweden.' I am currently a University Lecturer in Nursing, lecturing at both undergraduate and advanced levels in subjects such as quantitative methods, global health, nursing ethics, group dynamics, teamwork, and more. I supervise and grade theses at the bachelor's and master's levels.

Currently, I am the project leader for SoCap-YMH, a research project sponsored by the Kamprad Family Foundation. The project is ongoing from 2023 to 2026 and investigates social capital, mental health, and help-seeking behaviors among adolescents. Additionally, I am a co-researcher in PAD-AI, focusing on young adults, their healthcare journeys related to mental health issues, and the optimal implementation of AI in various healthcare processes
