Teaching about sustainable development
The PhD project deals with science teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge within sustainable development.
The goal of the PhD project is to generate knowledge about how upper secondary school science teachers transform their disciplinary knowledge about sustainable development in teaching practice and how their pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) develops as a result of collegial reflections and didactic tools.

Collaboration partners
The project is part of the Research School KÄKK (Knowledge, Subjects and Quality in Teacher Education and Classrooms) and is a collaboration between Karlstad University, Halmstad University and West University. KÄKK focuses on practical studies and aims to develop knowledge about how different subject content is transformed in teaching.
