Working with

Thomas has more than twenty years of experience in innovation studies. He works with environmentally innovation and sustainability transitions, primarily in transport and energy systems. He is active in research projects linked to the Biogas Research Center and the Swedish Electromobility Center (national competence centers, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency).

Thomas is the director of studies at Halmstad University's postgraduate education in innovation science and teaches, among others, in the Master's Program Industrial Organization and Innovation. In his teaching, he attaches great importance to integrating theory with practice, as well as stimulating interactivity and reflection. He tries to create synergies between research and education, and he often conducts teaching based on cases taken from his own studies.

Thomas is also a Professor of Industrial Management at Linköping University, and is active in Projektforum and the Sustainability Transitions Research Network.
