Working with

I work as Senior lecturer of nursing at the School of Health and Welfare. Part time, I also work clinically as a specialist nurse in psychiatric care and have been doing this work for over 20 years. My doctoral thesis concerned the issues of young people’s mental health and quality of life, with a particular focus on the help-seeking process and I obtained my PhD in Health and Lifestyle in 2021.

I am part of the research group "Healthcare Improvement Research Group" where research on health innovations and implementation processes in healthcare is conducted. I am currently involved in three research projects; the Social Capital for identification and support of Young people's mental health, the project Participatory and Information Driven Anxiety/Depression Healthcare Journeys of Young Adults and EUPPNES (Patient experiences of treatment with esketamine nasal spray).
