My research focus is on the transition towards more sustainable food systems with a particular interest in capacity building, environmental innovation and participatory research methodology. The research is more specifically about sustainable residual streams from agriculture for the production of biogas, carbon sequestration in agricultural land and Lean production. I’m the program director for the Bachelor in Environment, Innovation and Sustainability and I teach courses in ecosystem services and nature-based solutions.
