Hosea is an assistant professor at the Department of Intelligent Systems and Digital Design, School of Information Technology. His research focuses on the intersection of digital innovation and industry transformation. Hosea is particularly interested in digital platforms, ecosystems, business models, and digital service innovation, and he explores the various implications of digital technology on organizing. He has taught courses on digital platform design, business models, digital transformation, digital strategy, and organizational change.

Hosea is actively examining critical issues within the data economy. He aims to foster a deeper understanding of organizing data-driven innovation across platforms and ecosystems. Hosea's research has been recognized in esteemed publications such as Information Systems Journal, Electronic Markets, Digital Policy, Regulation, and Governance.

At Halmstad University, Hosea is part of the REBEL research program, an interdisciplinary program focusing on designing Smart cities and communities.
