I work as a postdoctoral fellow in health innovation with a focus on the implementation of AI in health care. My background is in sociology (bachelor and master) and caring science (doctoral degree). My PhD thesis focused on innovations in elderly care that aimed to utilize informal care. My research interests revolve around the introduction and use of new technology in health care and social care. I am particularly interested in how this area can be understood with the help of theory about social and material practices, for example ‘social practice theory’ or ‘posthuman practice theory’. I enjoy working with both qualitative and quantitative methods, even though I have a special interest in ethnographic methods. Finally, I teach in nursing and health innovation.
