EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
Charlotte Olsson is an Associate professor in Exercise Physiology and head of the Department of Environmental and Biosciences. She is responsible for the Human Movement Laboratory within the Rydberg Laboratory at Halmstad University.
Charlotte research interests are the field of Exercise as Medicine and Exercise for Performance. This is research within the focus area Health Innovation and the research program Movement for health and performance (M4HP). Charlotte is part of the research group Exercise Biomedicine group.

SUPERVISION
Charlotte continuously supervises students at doctoral, master's and undergraduate levels. Currently she is the main supervisor for a doctoral student in sustainable sports career in collaboration with Halmstad BK (Football Club) and co-supervises 1 doctoral student in High- intensity interval training in rheumatic back disease. In total, she has been a supervisor and mentor to 3 Ph.D students, supervised about 15 master's theses and >30 bachelor's theses in the areas of exercise physiology, exercise training, biomedicine and health.
