Working with

I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the area of information-driven care, with a special focus on patient safety. In addition to this, I am involved in quality and patient safety improvement management at a strategic level, and work as a nurse mainly in cardiology in inpatient care at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

I defended my thesis at the University of Gothenburg in 2023. My focus on patient safety rests fundamentally on a particular interest in exploring how meaning is created. Thus, concepts such as knowledge, power and access have been used to guide my studies on how unsafe/safe care is understood in different situations and how this can affect, for example, patients' and relatives' participation in patient safety or the conditions for healthcare professionals to create safe care.
