Gunnar Ekelöf, “Remaining poems I–II”

The first volume will include all poems published by the author that are not part of “Collected Poems I–II”, published in 2015 in the Swedish Academy’s Classics Series. It will thus contain the poems that were printed in newspapers, magazines, and publications other than Ekelöf’s books under his own name from the 1930s until 1968.

Volume II will include all the author’s unprinted poems, i.e. manuscripts of poems published after March 1968. These are partly poem manuscripts that have been unpublished up until now, and they almost exclusively belonging to Gunnar Ekelöf’s collection at the manuscript department in Carolina Rediviva, Uppsala. The collection includes the author’s literary legacy deposited before and after his death and has later been supplemented with manuscripts from others who also had manuscripts written by Ekelöf in their possession.
