The apartment in Health Lab

The apartment is equipped with cameras and microphones, with the possibility to record and live-stream practice sessions. The sessions can be viewed retroactively by fellow students and teachers, allowing for self-reflection and feedback. The technology also allows peers to follow what is happening in the apartment in real time. The apartment can be customised for different scenarios to create an authentic environment based on what students are expected to encounter in their future professional role.

The apartment can also be used to develop, simulate and test the use of health innovations. This is done, for example, by companies that want to test their products in an authentic healthcare environment. The products are tested in the same way that they are going to be used in the future.
