Professional development in health innovation
The Health Innovation focus area aims to be an academic node in an ecosystem for health innovation. This includes the identification of needs for professional development together with stakeholders. Halmstad University offers both professional development and competence enhancement in health innovation, primarily through the following initiatives.
Education for professionals
Training or professional development for employees in companies, public sector and other organisations through a wide range of courses, either from our regular course offering or trough tailored solutions developed and specially adapted to the specific wishes and needs.

Project-based master
Through the project-based master, Halmstad University provides an opportunity for professionals in companies and public sector to carry out development projects at their workplace and at the same time acquire in-depth competence in the subject area for development work and formal development of skills and qualification for post-graduate education.

National Research School in Health Innovation
The Research School in Health Innovation aims to contribute to an innovation ecosystem to promote digitization in health care and to strengthens knowledge and skills to improve healthcare for patients and society with the help of new health and welfare technology.
The Research School in Health Innovation is a collaborative project between Halmstad University, Blekinge University of Technology, Jönköping University, Mittuniversitetet, Mälardalen University, Skövde University, West University as well as business, regions and municipalities around Sweden. Halmstad University is the project owner.
