Mingle and procession

The University’s visiting and adjunct professors are invited to participate in the procession and to sit together with the other professors next to the stage during the ceremony. Before the ceremony, those who will participate in the procession gather and mingle on the second floor in the I building, next to the University Hall. No relatives or other guests are invited to the mingle. These take their seats directly at the tables in the University Hall. Staff on site will inform which tables apply.

When the procession reaches the stage, proceed to designated seats at the side of the stage where you and the other professors will sit throughout the ceremony.

Registration, dinner and seating

You must register yourself and your guest. When registering select the category “Visiting professor or adjuct professor”. You participate free of charge. You may bring one guest free of charge to the Ceremony and dinner. Staff on site will inform you where you and your guest will be seated.

Dress code

For participants in the ceremonial procession: white tie or formal attire. In the procession and during the ceremony, the University’s professors, visiting professors and adjunct professors wear the University’s professorial capes. The capes are available at the mingle. No dress code but festive attire for other guests attending the Ceremony.
