I am professor in psychology at the School of Health and Welfare. My main research direction, where most of the research projects I have developed and/or been involved in, targeting sustainable and healthy participation in sports and physical activity. Within this research direction my research can be divided into three major categories: (a) sustainable participation in organized sports for children and youth, (b) sustainable participation in elite sports, and (c) sustainable participation in physical activity. Except the research direction outlined above I have published several manuscripts focusing on research methods and statistical analyses.
