Sustainable participation in youth ice hockey
Participation in organized sport can promote both health and well-being among participants. To increase the chances of positive health outcomes from organized sport, it is important to create environments that promote different aspects such as enjoyment, participation, perceived competence, etc. It is therefore important to gain knowledge about how to work towards creating environments that promote these aspects.
The aim of the project is to investigate which aspects can increase the chances of sustainable participation in children's and youth ice hockey. Furthermore, one aim is to investigate how different stakeholders (federations, clubs, etc.) can work to promote sustainable sport participation.
