Grateful for support

“Being a winner of such an award of course makes me feel honoured and trusted. But I also do not think it has changed me; I mean I am the same person as I was before”, says a laughing Natalia Stambulova. She continues:

“I still love my job and I am willing to share my experiences with colleagues and students locally, nationally, and internationally. I am very grateful that the International Society of Sport Psychology Award Committee selected me for this prestigious award. I am even more grateful to many people and organisations that helped to get to where I am. I think the best 20 years of my professional career are related to being at Halmstad University. My sincere thanks go to the University, the School of Health and Welfare, the Department of Health and Sport, and psychology group members who worked with me during these years. Without all the support I have got here, many of my achievements would be impossible.”

Halmstad University Vice-Chancellor Stephen Hwang is very happy for Natalia Stambulova and congratulates her on receiving the award:

”It is fantastic that one of our researchers receives such a prestigious international award for their research.
