I am a senior lecturer in mathematics at the School of Information and Technology (ITE). I received my PhD at Lund University in 2008. My research interest focuses on spectral theory on quantum (metric) graphs. In my research I have been investigating both spectral properties of operators and topological properties of quantum graphs. In recent years I have been working on determining the type and position of defects in graphene lattices.
I was a postoc at Polish Academy of Sciences and at Mittag-Leffler Institute. I have gained teaching experience at Lund University, Stockholm University, AGH University of Krakow, University of Witwatersrand and now I am teaching at Halmstad University.
Current teaching: I am responsible for the courses at bachelor level that include calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, statistics and discrete mathematics. I am also involved in teaching at master level, where I teach some numerical methods and some aspects of functional analysis.
