Halmstad University will in the project contribute with technologies for connected and collaborative autonomous vehicles. One example of such technology is the communication between vehicles, as well as between vehicles and the infrastructure. The University will also contribute with technical competence in modelling different scenarios with autonomous vehicles. Examples of these scenarios are the traffic flow in cities and how to connect autonomous driving in different environments, such as between a restricted harbour area and the public road network.
Note: The project was previously called SUV (Stimulating the Up-take of Shared and Electric Autonomous Vehicles by Local Authorities) but changed it's name to PAV (Planning for Autonomous Vehicles) in 2020.
