Qualitative Methods

The course provides an orientation in qualitative research methods at advanced level and consists of a common introductory part and an in-depth part based on the research interests of the course participants. The focus is on various methodological starting points and method techniques within qualitative research, as well as the analytical procedures that these methods require.
The course includes questions of value, such as ethical considerations, reflexivity, quality and credibility. The content of the course also provides a basis for discussing the emergence and development of qualitative research with regard to eg equality, sustainability and internationalisation.
