Introduction to Digital Forensics

The aim of the course is to introduce students to theoretical and practical aspects of digital forensics and information security in relation to societal norms and enable students to familiarise themselves with the methods related to the field. This is to make students understand the different types and complexity of digital evidence, and their significance, limitations and issues with regards to societal values, human rights and legislation.
For international students teaching takes place online without meeting at the campus. For exchange students teaching takes place on campus.
