Working with
Professor in Biomedicine with special interest in immunology, inflammation and molecular biology. Is a docent in Medical Inflammation Research. In recent years interested in how exercise affects chronic inflammation in musculoskeletal diseases.
Teaches molecular biology, immunology, pathophysiology, cell physiology, etc.
Research program:
Deputy research program manager for Halmstad University's research program Movement for Health and Performance (M4HP) within the focus area of Health Innovation.
Research projects:
Effects of high-intensity exercise in inflammatory disease (Exercise Biomedicine group, HH)
Exercise training among children with cerebral palsy to increase health and well-being (ExTraChild, Lund University)
Study of a transcriptional repressor and its role in arthritis (Exercise Biomedicine group, HH)
Additional duties:
Is the program manager for the Master's program in Training biomedicine - health, sports and performance
Chairman of the University's recruitment committee and member of the Postgraduate Education committee
