Research interests: artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual sensors, safe AI, XAI, monitoring of heterogeneous groups of mechatronic systems. Currently supervises a doctoral student within XAI.

Teaching areas: artificial intelligence, data mining, thesis supervision at bachelor's and master's level, technology and democracy.

Positions of trust: Program manager for the master's program in embedded and intelligent systems and the master's program in information technology (2015-2018). Director of studies for the doctoral program in information technology (2012-2018). Head of Department ISDD (2018-). Acting Dean for the school of Information technology (2022-2023). Collaboration leader at ITE (2017-2018).

Current project management: Leads the "MAISTR" program and "Innovation platform AI.m"
