Collaboration for a judicious transport system
The project Collaboration for a Judicious Transport System aims to strike a balance between a data-driven organisation and a reputable organisation based on values such as reliability, commitment and courage.
Summary
The project focuses on how a community-building organisation can create collaboration towards judicious and ethically sustainable decisions. The research project will follow a number of planned and on-going projects at the Swedish Transport Administration (STA).
The project will involve working with decision support systems from a socio-technological perspective (i.e., taking into account social and technological aspects) where organisational interoperability and judgement (social) is balanced with a data-driven focus (technical). A socio-technical decision-making process strengthens the possibility of developing a judicious transport system. A data driven society needs to be balanced by a value-based and ethical approach to handling data. The project intends to contribute to, for example, improved judgment in decision-making, principles for orchestrating collaboration, and knowledge development in the fields of ethics and moral.
