Injuries and risks
On this page you can find information on what to do if you have been in an accident on the University premises or if you experienced any risks.
It is important that you report an incident that has occurred on campus even if no one has been injured, things that could have gone wrong but ended well. There may be risks on campus that need to be observed and addressed.
What should be reported
If you have experienced any of the below, we advice you to make a report via helpdesk.
- Accidents. Accidents are sudden and unforeseen events that occur, it can be needlestick injuries, falls, cuts or the like.
- Travel accidents are accidents that occur to or from the University.
- Violence and threats of violence must be reported regardless of whether you have been injured or not.
- Illness. Illness connected to the work environment, diseases that often occur after long-term effects such as allergies or stress injuries, physical as well as mental.
How to report injuries and risks
If you have experienced any of the above, we advice you to make a report via helpdesk.
- Log in to Helpdesk, create a new case and choose the heading "Report incident" and then the category "Other".
- Describe what have happened (when, where and how?).
- When you have made a report you will be contacted by the University's Environment and Security coordinator, that handles your report in a dialog with a work environment representative and representatives from your educational programme. (Make sure to monitor the inbox of the email address that you entered when you made the report).
