Regulations for teaching
On this page we collect information about rules and regulations connected to teaching.
Registration mandatory to take part in education
Only admitted students who are registered on a course at Halmstad University has the right to take part in education and examination and become eligible for receiving credits.
External persons are not allowed during lectures
Only staff and students have access to the University’s lecture rooms and other teaching facilities as it is crucial that both teachers and students can concentrate and focus during the lectures. In certain situations, it might be valuable to invite external persons to a teaching session, however this needs to be approved by the teacher. There are no general decisions made regarding external people being allowed to be present during lectures or other daily operations or that our facilities are available for the general public. This also include children to staff and students, who in this case are considered as external persons.
Recording of lectures are not allowed
According to the Halmstad University policy, recording sound, photographing or filming teaching sessions (lectures, lessons, laboratory work, etc.) is not allowed without special permission from the teacher in question. A given permit to record sound, film or photographs is only for personal use and is not intended to be disseminated.
