Certificates
On this page we have collected information about various certificates that you might need during your study period. Some of the certificates can easily be downloaded from Ladok for students while others might require an application.
Certificates in Ladok for students
Certificate of registration
- A certificate of registration shows all courses you have been registered for and are currently registered for at Halmstad University.
- You can download the certificate directly in Ladok for students.
- The certificate can be useful whenever you need to prove that you are a student.
- The certificate shows your name, personal ID number or T-number, the name of the courses, number of credits and the date when the courses take or took place.
Result certificate and national result certificate (Transcript of records)
- a result certificate shows the courses you have studied where you have registered results in Ladok for students.
- You can download the certificate directly in Ladok for students.
- The certificate can be useful whenever you need to show your study results, for example when applying for a job.
- The certificate shows your name, personal ID number or T-number, the name of the courses, number of credits and the date when results were registered.
You can choose between downloading a national result certificate, showing all courses you have studied in Sweden, or a certificate showing only the courses you have studied at Halmstad University.
Certificate of anticipated participation
- A certificate of enticipated participation shows the courses you are admitted to but not registered for at Halmstad University.
- You can download the certificate directly in Ladok for students.
- The certificate shows your name, personal ID number and the name of the courses.
How to download certificates in Ladok for students
Log in to Ladok for students and click on 'Certificates'. Choose which certifiate you want to download. You can choose if you want the certificate to be in Swedish or English. The authencity of the certificate can easily be checked via a verification code. Learn more about the various certificates below.
Other certificates
Listed below are certificates that cannot be downloaded directly from Ladok for students. Instead you need to make an application to get access to these.
Course certificate
Once you have finished a course, you can apply for a course certificate. The course certificate shows that you have finalised the course and which grade you have been given. Lean more about how to apply via below link.
Degree certificate/diploma
When you have completed your education and have met the requirements for your degree, you can apply for a degree certificate or diploma, in Ladok for students. The certificate contains information about the courses included in your education and what grade you have received in each course.
Verified certificate with signature and University stamp
Sometimes you might have use for a verified certificate with a signature and the official University stamp.
You can order verified certificates from Service Center. Send an email to servicecenter@hh.se with the following details:
- Full name
- Personal ID number or T-number
- Which certificate you need to get a verified copy of
Include your postal address if you want the certificate to be sent to by regular mail.
Certificate without student account
If you are a former student with no access to you student account, you can login to Ladok for alumni using BankID or Freja eID.
