Blackboard (learning platform)
At Halmstad University we use the learning platform Blackboard for web-based teaching and teaching support. Here you will find teaching materials for your courses.
How to log in to Blackboard
You can find all of your courses through the same login page in Blackboard.
- Go to Blackboard
External link, opens in new window. - Username: your student email address: 'username@student.hh.se' (for example nistut24@student.hh.se)
- Password: the password you chose when you created your student account.
Can’t you find your course in Blackboard?
If you cannot find your course in Blackboard, it may be because you are not registered for the course. Log in to Ladok for students and make sure you are really registered. If you are not registered, you can contact Service Center at servicecenter@hh.se.

Blackboard works best on a computer
You should make sure you have access to a computer when you study. Blackboard works best on a computer (PC or Mac does not matter) and with most browsers such as Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
All functions are not available in the app
Blackboard is also available as an app for Iphone, Android and Windows phone, but you should be aware that you cannot fully conduct your studies by only using your phone or tablet. Some functions are not available in the app.
If you want to use the app as a complement, you can download the Blackboard app where apps are available and then search for Halmstad University.
