Prevention 360
Prevention 360 is a preparatory project to build a strategic innovation programme called Impact Innovation. The preparatory project runs between March and October 2023 and brings together three national innovation environments – Information-driven Care, Childhood Obesity Prevention and Zero Vision Cancer.
Developing healthcare
The view of maintaining health in individuals and populations needs to evolve; from reactive and general to proactive, precise and informed. A society that remains in good health by intervening early, tailored for the individual, will minimize the need for resource intensive health care, as well as freeing up resources of high-quality care for those who need it.
Preparing for Impact innovation
Prevention 360 starts as a preparatory project in 2023 with the goal of contributing to a strategic innovation programme called Impact innovation. The strategic innovation programmes will start in 2024 and are financed by Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas.
To prevent disease
Through a data-driven approach, both individuals and societal actors, such as municipalities and regions, can act in an informed and proactive manner with targeted interventions to promote health and counteract diseases, while in parallel giving the individual new ways to take responsibility for their own health. The goal of Prevention 360 is to drive this development and enable a data-driven way of working.
Different perspectives
Prevention 360 brings together three innovation environments – Nollvision Cancer, Prevention Barnfetma and Informationsdriven Vård (in English: zero vision cancer, childhood obesity prevention and information-driven care). The environments are well-established with a broad support of partners and networks from both the public sector, and the life science and medtech industry. The working method in Prevention 360 is based on understanding problems, propose and change through the mobilization of more actors.
