Within HDC, both externally funded research projects and commissioned research projects are conducted. Common to all projects at HDC is that data analytics and AI are applied to health data so that healthcare organisations and companies can gain deeper insights. The research projects at HDC are carried out in collaboration with regions, municipalities, authorities and pharmaceutical companies.

All projects at HDC undergo an ethics review and follow the rules for data extraction and data management that each healthcare organisation requires.

Publications

Extensive research collaboration for almost 10 years between Halmstad University and Region Halland has led to several scientific publications in the field of information-driven care.
