The Student Union is very positive towards the decision made by the University.
– It feels like the obvious choice to make the written exams even more legally secure, says Marielle Bock, chairman of the Student Union.
Bring the code to the exam hall
When you register for an anonymous exam in Student Ladok, you will get a code. Since the code replaces your personal ID number on the exam, you must remember to bring the code to the exam room and then write it on your exam.
The fact that an exam is done anonymously means that it is the actual correction process that is anonymous. The teacher does not know which student has written which exam when correcting the exams. When you retrieve your exam at Service Center, you need to show ID as usual because the exam is decoded and linked with the correct personal ID number again after it has been corrected and before the examiner sets the score.
After receiving your result in Student Ladok, you can expect it to take at least three days before the exam is available for collection at Service Center.
More anonymous exams in the future
In the future, the University is looking into possibilities to make all written exams anonymous. As of today, the new regulations include a few programmes and courses, in addition to all programmes and courses at the School of Health and Welfare.
– We look forward to the fact that this initiative will be standard for all exams at Halmstad University and that the institution looks at how other types of examinations can be even better when it comes to legal security, says Marielle Bock.
