Registration guide for new students
Welcome to Halmstad University. In order to start your studies, there are a few things you need to do.
1. Register for your student account
When you arrive at Halmstad University, you are welcome to Service Center, located at the University main entrance, which is open Monday to Friday 8am–4pm. The Service Center will help you with:
- Login information for your student account
- The photo for the student ID card
- Instructions for registration and other general questions
- Welcome package
Bring the Notification of Selection Results and your passport!
Remember that this is only possible when you are physically at the University.
3. Attend the registration meeting
Most courses and programmes have a mandatory registration meeting at the start of the semester. If you miss it, you will lose your place unless you've notified the University that you are unable to attend.
The registration meeting is mandatory and you have to inform the Student Affairs Department/International Office, well in advance, if you have a legitimate reason to not attend the meeting, otherwise your admission may be cancelled!
Registration meeting date: January 20, 10:00-12:00 Building J, Visionen – Baertling.
