Euroheat & Power's 9th International Summer School in District Heating and Cooling is planned to take place in Karlshamn at the end of August 2021. It will be hosted by NetPort Science Park, NODA Intelligent Systems, Halmstad University and Danfoss.

The DHC+ Summer School is an entire week of intensive education with lecturing experts from industry and academia in the area of District Energy. During the week, the participants will, among other things, develop their skills based on new knowledge and then practice them through cases. They will create new networks, gain international experience and get a direct contact with the industry.
For whom?
The target group for the DHC+ Summer School are young professionals from all over Europe, interested in sustainability, artificial intelligence and our future societies. They can be both professionals and students/doctoral students. No specific knowledge in the subject area of district heating is needed. The summer school is held online and entirely in English.
When and where?
The summer school will take in the end of August, 2021.
March 2021: It will soon be decided of it will be on site, online or a hybrid event. This page will be updated as soon as possible.
Hosts and sponsors
The summer school is arranged by the international network for district energy, Euroheat & Power. The Swedish hosts for the summer school are NetPort Science Park, NODA Intelligent Systems, Halmstad University and Danfoss. Sponsors include Karlshamn Energi and Södra Cell in Mörrum.
The summer school lies well in line with Halmstad University profile area Smart Cities and Communities. The university's researchers in district heating and AI will contribute with their knowledge and expertise during the summer school.

The DHC+ Summer School 2020 was held digitally from August 23 to 29. The Swedish hosts were the same for 2020 as for the planned summer school in 2021: Halmstad University, NetPort Science Park, NODA Intelligent Systems and Danfoss.
