Master's Programme (60 credits) in Network Forensics, 60 credits
This one year Master’s Programme with its unique multidisciplinary content reflects the need for specialists within IT security and digital forensics in our digital society.
The growing use of the internet and digital communications systems, especially in the shape of the Internet of things, leads to an increasing demand for competence in network forensics. The programme's multidisciplinary connection to both technology and social sciences builds a theoretical and practical competence for work within IT forensic network analysis and offers deeper knowledge within data mining, cyber security and investigation of cybercrime.
The programme is a further education for those of you who have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT Forensics and Information Security, or the equivalent.
The courses in the programme integrate work-related issues in a creative learning environment. The creative lab environment, with advanced equipment from the Cisco Networking Academy and the Palo Alto Networks Academy, promotes practical skills. Incident management exercises and workshops are based on materials from the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and the Swedish Civil Protection and Emergency Agency (MSB).
